Does any company make SS tensioners for dual suspension? I'm pretty sure they dont! it all depends on the chain growth. If there is little chain growth, any tensioner will work..

i dont know what kind of weather you have to deal with, but if it is frequently mud and grit, replacing bearings and bushings gets old rather quick. its called innovation, and you may just see this on more bikes in the future.

Basically the grass acted as a half filled tube. It didn't damage anything as I wasn't riding full on. It was merely just to ride to the bottom of the trail which was still 20 mins. away. If you are in a situation like I was, it will work. The bead stayed on the rim the entire time, and I was able to ride it out, which was the whole point.

Well, Sure the Saint stuff is nice, but this is a stock build, so I think they managed to do a pretty good job.

Amazingly enough it did work for a bit. I ended up stopping and adding a bunch of long ferns to firm it up a bit more. The grass packed together pretty quickly, but the added ferns were enough to firm it up. The tire never came off the rim once, which was a welcome surprise

It seems so, but the lower section picks up right near the base of the tree that is precariously leaning.. There is about 30 feet of trail to be cut, and it will be ready to ride.

Hahaha. That looks freakin amazing. I see a new trend waiting to take off... If biking doesn't work out for you, you should market those bandannas

well, on the Sunn website, the bike is called "VTT Radical Exo"... VT was a suspension platform used by giant on some of their older bikes. Also, on the Giant website, it says that the old Dh team used a "single pivot four bar linkage". By the looks of things, it almost sounds like a description for the Sunn.

the only difference here looks to be the rear swing arm.. Giant uses a mono swingarm(one piece) where as the Sunn uses a separate chain stay/seat stay arrangement.. instead of pushing the shock upwards as on the giant, the little knuckle pivot pushes it forward..

I really would like to know how that big rod is connected to the shock.. i would think the shock would have a tendency to just push up away from the downtube, unless there is a hidden link or something

So basically, Giant sold their old blueprints from the Dh-team, and Sunn built a newer version, with smaller tubing? dont get me wrong though, still an amazing bike,. it just seems to draw so much of it's design from Giant's old frame
